Got my first ride in at Allaire on Friday. Had a blast and am appreciative of all the TM that as been done over there! Thanks everyone! Will try to get down there to help out next month. What a great place to ride though!
 
Glad to hear you really enjoyed your ride there!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but, next month, November, is the last month this year for a TM session. If you can make it, that would be great. The more bodies, the merrier, and more helpful.

Yep, that's the last SCHEDULED date. We may have to extend the season because we did not complete Tiger and Steelman extension work.

Where is this steelman trail? I know tiger woods and most of the park, but I'm not familiar with that trail ... at least by the name. And great work in the park Frank and Crew!!!!

I always heard Allaire sucks with lots of sand. With no fun winding single track and diverse trails. Its just what I heard.

"sucks" can mean lots of different things to lots of different people .. I would suggest checking it out and forming your own opinion.

Hearsay doesn't hold up in court.... ride there and formulate your own opinion.

To your point, yes it is sandy which presents a challenge during summer months. If that is not desirable to you then try riding there this time of year and through the winter. You may be surprised at how much fun the trails can be there.

What exactly do you mean by diverse? Tiger Woods is tight with some climbing, there are plenty of trails that are nice and wavy and you can get up a lot of speed and the hog bog is fun to ride through. You're not going to find lots of rocks or super technical stuff, but I wouldn't say it isn't fun there or diverse. IMO you need to see it for yourself.

I've heard the people who maintain the trails suck even worse, they are no fun to hang out with and they are all a bunch of jerks.

It's just what I've heard. :argue:

I usually ride my schwinn varsity through there. cant figure out all why there are 50 cars and trucks in the parking lot on a weekend with all dem dare fancy bikes?

hold on dude....you live in howell and youve only heard about allaire?? you could spit from your frontdoor and hit frank in the eyeball while hes riding down steelman

and y does it say in your bio that allaire is your fav trail:hmmm:

Please try not to disturb all the dead bodies buried in the sand there. Don't worry though, they usually only come alive once a year, around Halloween.:scared:
