DRCV Shock

Hey guys...so getting things ready for some riding this weekend. Greasing the pivots, cleaning chain and making sure all the air pressures are right. In doing so, because I don't have a stand, I had the bike seat down and removing some air from the shock. Suddenly wet-air (oil spitting out)😕😕 and freaked me out. I then decided to try it right side up and it didn't happen. So i'm wondering if anyone else has ever removed air while the bike is seat down and have oil spitting out :hmmm:? I'm hoping this was a result of having the bike upside down. If not, what could be the issue?

I'm also trying to figure out if the fox factory seal kit would easily work with the Trek DRCV rp2 shock?

Factory seals will work
Sometimes some of the float fluid will leak out when depresurizing a shock. nothing really to worry about.

Seems I have more to worry about. My rebound, no matter what I do, doesn't exist. It springs back and I paid for it the other day. I noticed there is more oil on the shock then usual. Might just send it to push to get some upgrades and repairs.
