closest to Paramus NJ

Hi all, Can you recommend a place to ride that is near Paramus? Ideally under 15mins away, but open for other suggestions. I will then check the (North NJ?) trail section on this site, but want a general idea map location wise that is relatively close and easy to get to.

Depending on which part of Paramus and traffic (morning good, afternoon/evening horrible), you can get to Ramapo in 15min. Another 15min will get you to Ringwood. Be prepared for rocks.
 
Thnks is one less rocky or both about the same? I would be coming from right near where Rt 17 and 80 meet. How about High Mountain? I've been looking at maps and this seems a touch closer. Other suggestions welcome.
 
high mountain also not far from paramus.it wasn't a popular mtbiking trails
i rode here fairly often.i know a loop 13+miles.good for a quickie ride too.
this little park will kick your arse if you never rode here.
mix of loose rock,rock garden no roots lots of rocks just typical north jersey trails.
you might not like it if you haven't ride here.
ask somebody to give you proper tour.i won't mind to give you tour if you not afraid of strangers🙂
 
Yea High Mountain is def a cool place to ride .. Ramapo trails are very RAW and will kick your butt lol , you could park up at Skyline drive and dip into Ringwood from there and back if you wanna kill about 3 hours.
 
Ringwood is the most groomed of the three, but still very rocky. It's also the place I'd hit if you only have time for one ride .. no offence to the other Parks 😀
