Chain Stretcher

You saw me... I think I said I was going to have a crappy picture because I was half off my bike coming down that hill.... In fact, I think you might have even laughed at me too. I was the girl in the unicorn kit not to be confused with the guy in the unicorn kit 🙂
 
He got 4th. They fixed it...I was behind him on the fire road with the ghost turn on it. I would have had 5th-6th but took 12th because I missed a poorly marked left turn, could have had 10th but I was so mad I wasn't gonna sprint against 2 dudes I passed 50minutes before (I'm a baby). Me and some dude raced each other a half mile or so the wrong way..ahahha. I was mad but who gives a shit..?..I would have been happy with a 5th- 6th place finish on my worst race performance ever. No bike handling at all and couldn't climb anything, the hills are where I make my moves on ya'll with gears.

Good news is got a pair of badly needed shoes (specialized) and 2 MTB T-shirts for 70 bucks....and I'm still first overall in Cat3 30-39 SS-vs-GEARS. So as mad as I was It wasn't a complete wash.
 
Next time try and stay close enough to me so you know where to go! Great course but definitely coulda marked it better. I was lucky to so llong and point me to my first top 3 finish. 3rd fastest overall. The guy who won was an animal (sandbagger)

I'm not taking anything away from you and your race today...you killed it. I'm just sayin you saw me at my worst. Wait till the jungle me and you will have some fun. I won't show up drunk this time..ahhahahaha jk yeah I will. Good job to everyone today.

I missed that same turn with 3 other guys and went from 6th to 14th which would of been my best finish, all 4 of us stood there like 4 idiots lost for 5 minutes during a race, very poorly marked course! I actuallt raced 7.7 miles due to the sight seeing detour!
 
When I pre-rode at same time the Cat 3s, that turn was in fact much less obvious than when the trail got packed in by the time Cat 2s went off. I can see how people could easily miss it.
 
Lets try and set up a pre-ride of the Jungle with someone who knows the area. I'm thinkin this wkd, whatever time is good for you guys and girls
