Car-spotting thread

So I’ve see a guy whipping something like that around and it has plates. I got the scoop from some other guy that the DMV issued a motorcycle plate and it shouldn’t have gotten one. He also blasts some awful music and has trump flags or something. I’m not sure if DMV or police can make the mistake go away? Whatcha think?

Just now in morristown. Street legal sxs? @Carson. White trash driver blasting horrible rap music about ***** for all to hear.
No idea what the story is, but they come through town pretty often blasting their music. There's a few Polaris Slingshots too doing the same thing.

I don't get it. It's purely a look-at-me thing.

I just assume they committed covid stimulus money fraud.

Do the slingshots have stupid neon lights all over them too? I see a few like that around me in central Jerz blasting shitty music and lit up like a Christmas tree

I think it had a plate. Small, like a motorcycle plate just above the exhaust exit. Sorry it was a quick in motion pic grab. As far as road worthy I thought tires had to be covered. I might be needing one of these.
I would expect it to need bumpers too.

Not if it's registered as a motorcycle or low speed vehicle. Tires covered, but not necessarily bumpers, turn signals, and some othere stuff. All depends on the documentation.

Almost always.

For awhile I just assumed there was a place renting them out via Groupon or something, because who would waste that kind of money? But I guess Harley guys do it en masse.

Boss said go take out the fun cars today. They haven't been run in awhile and could use a drive. No problem boss.

I popped the top and picked up the 14-year younger GF to complete the look.

F Type R. $116,000. 525hp I think.

Sweet ‘73 Olds Delta 88 on my ride yesterday. Ash Williams approved View attachment 203944Musta been ‘70s land yacht day yesterday, I also saw an early ‘70s 4 door Caprice and a ‘70 Eldorado.
The first car I drove in HS when I got my license was the family sedan which was a 76 Delta 88 4dr but diarrhea brown.

I used to have to let it warm up for 10-15 minutes in the winter or it would stall out when you put it in drive. No heat. No AC. Just transportation but I could always fit like 9 people in the car.

Damn, he was pretty nice in person. Was at a rally in Maine and there was an Audi Quattro from 80's rally racing in front of the resort on display and we were both checking it out and talking to each other for awhile before I knew who he was.
