Car-spotting thread

It’s one of America’s greatest cars!

GM was on to something when they did the Chevette and then the Cavalier z24 and Beretta... I want to believe if they continued to refine those models to keep up with the japanese, they could’ve competed in the import scene when it exploaded...

The Chevette is like the first gen Honda Civic hatch from the same time period...

The 1974 civic CVCC? Not even close, plus by '78 Civic was the small car standard. The Honda was way more fun to drive. Even had way more room inside because of FWD.

The "Chev-shit' I could hardly get my feet on the pedals due to the transmission hump, with a horrible reliabilty TH200 transmission.

Ford's Fiesta was also way better than anything GM made back then.

GM still refuses to make small cars. They farm them out to Korea, aka Buick Encore, or Chevy Cruze.

Fiero, whats it got under the trunk lid?

What @1sh0t1b33r said.
I had a Fiero GT with the V6. other than the really cool feeling when sitting in it, there wasn't much else going on at 135hp, and nearly 3,000 lbs.
although it ate those honda and acura boxes for lunch....
