Brandon, I remember when....

Brandon, I remember when…. I remember when we were at Hartshorne and we were on our way out to ride and there was this new guy on his K-Mart bike asking if he could tag along. Well, in few months time we find ourselves with this guy that has such energy and love for this sport of mountain biking and the dedication that anyone could be proud of. We hope that all your new endeavors and new friends can appreciate all that you have to offer. You will be greatly missed. Be prepared to have the Allaire crew asking to have a tour of the cool trails in you new neighborhood. We love you man!

He was rocking the low tech., high energy way. We were impressed with his ability to ride as well as he did on that "MTB". After that, he continued to impress us all, in a lot of positive ways. I'm sorry that I will not be in on the rides this weekend. We will miss Brandon, Emily, and Abigaill. Sorry for any misspellings.

I remember when you tried to ride over a big log with the Abigail in the trailer.

Thanks for being a part of our little community. Best of luck to you and the girls.

girls.

Hahahaha, I remember that.

I seem to have several memories of Brandon digging himself into ditches, Dirt flying everywhere, buckets, expletives, rising steam.....

Brandon, you will always be my favorite southerner in New Jersey.

That was the first thing I thought of when I saw this thread. Then Emma got a hold of him :getsome:

My first memory is when he came up to MD on the huge group ride this past summer. The smile on his face and the look in his eyes when he rolled back into the parking lot at the end of the ride were priceless.

My second good memory was when he first got the Cdale 29er. Me, him and Chainsaw were riding up the access road to the airplane field. We kinda busted into a little squabble about single speeds and gears. We started picking up speed taunting each other. Brandon lets out this "Big Ring Baby!" Dustin and I quickly caught him and proceeded to pass him😀

Good luck to you and the family, stay in touch!

Brandon was very passionate from the get go. He was very passionate about that K2 mtb haha. I remember when we carpooled together to the Monmouth County training session. We chatted about him wanting to get good at mtb'ing and eventually get a new bike next year. Then I told him Halter's is right down the road. He went there and J sold him everything in the store and that was that. So much for the new bike next year thing. 🙂

Good luck! NC is beautiful and the Southern hospitality ain't too shaby either.

I see a million people in and out of my life each year.

This guy I will not forget.

I am sad to see him leave. 🙁

You know you have a friend in me for life buddy.

Happy Trails..

i remember the long walks on the beach and the way he pushed the hair behind my ear. i remember the way he looked me in the eyes and said "YALL IS PIRTY" **swoon**

nah for real i remember a guy that came up to me after never meeting me in person and chatting me up about my health after my eye went bad. who knew there was still people ut there that actually give a crap about people other than themselves. its not often that you meet someone with nothing but compassion in everything he does. its going to be shitty to not have you and the ladies around anymore homie. take care and come back to the sandbox soon.

Brandon,
it was great to get to know you and I am sure we will meet again
good luck dude...

That was a great ride! I hadn't really ridden any big group rides like that before and it was my first time in the rocks. Brandon stayed in the back with me and was always encouraging. When I started bonking at the end of the ride he would turn around and ride next to me. He even had a sani-wipe and band-aide ready after I went over the handle bars. We're going to miss you Brandon!

Brandon, like I told you....you must be one of those people who has the 8th day in the week, because since you showed up here you have been everywhere, all the time, and always doing something great!

Your legacy you leave with those who's path in life you cross that defines a person. You can be proud buddy!

Irreplaceable...

Brandon, I think we're simply going to have to open the North Carolina chapter of JORBA, because you'll be irreplaceable in my book. We barely got to know each other in NJ, but your infectious spirit and enthusiasm has already rubbed off on me (and others)... let's hope our paths cross again in the near future (figuratively AND literally)...

All the best to you and your family.

Happy Trails, Amigo
