Does anyone know where the more popular bouldering spots are at Sourland? Around 3 Amigos? Boulderama?

I'm sure there's plenty of places but I'd like to know the areas people prefer.

I can help you out with that. Boulderama only has a few problems worth getting on because the boulders are so short. What level are you climbing at? V1 - V3 or up in the V8 - V10 range?

look up NJ bouldering on Facebook, that guy does ALOT of bouldering at the sourlands and wrote a guidebook for the area.

Definitely at the lower end. V1-3 would be fine.

sweet - there are two problems you should check out at boulderama. the first is a heel hook/ledge style problem (called the wave maybe), similar to the problem "mentos" at the gunks. if you follow the trail from the kiosk and stay right, you'll come across this boulder on your left in the middle of boulderama. this vid claims V7 - that rating is way generous. i think it's more like a V3.

the second is a boulder right in the middle of the trail, next to the wave. looking at the wave, its on your left. sit start, crimpy, pumpy, zero room for your feet to flail. that's a harder problem. i hate the sit start on it. again, really short.

over to the other side of the trail system by the three amigos intersection with the red/C trail. coming from the parking lot, walking up the mountain, turn right at the intersection of the red trail and three amigos. look for an outcrop on your way up that's set back about 50 or so feet from the trail. its pretty close to roaring rocks, so it's not too far up. there's a solid trail leading to it, and i believe a large fallen tree crossing the trail (if it hasn't been cleared). there's a cave problem that's strong (high Vs) and to the left of that, some great slabs and a nice crack traverse. all in your range (except for the cave).

here's the cave problem mid point (not even the crux):
