fred-
had a BB curve and it was fine. not a single technical issue with it at all. that said, it's a bland phone that is stupid difficult to put music on. for business only use it's perfect.
now, however, i have an iPhone. i was wicked skeptical of it and having gone from a BB to the iPhone is a pretty big switch...one i'm still getting used to. HOWEVER, i can't fathom going back to a device that does as little as the BB did.
once you have an iPhone you realize how imperfect all the other devices you've ever had are...and I've had at least one of all of them going back as deep as the second gen palm pilot. in today's market you simply can't get a better device than the iPhone. yes, it has it's faults but they quickly become non-issues.
if you do have your little army of none heart set on an iPhone, you could buy one at cost and jail break it for $50 which will allow you to use it on any network. up front your costs are higher but i would guess that long term you'd be in better shape.
