Allaire on 12/24

I am going to try and get down to Allaire tomorrow. Not sure on the time. It's likely that i will see you all out there...

Not even sure if i'll even be able to ride long. I've had a lingering cough for like 3 weeks not and haven't rode at all...its that time of year i guess...

I was just reading the thread on the conditions there, think it will be too yucky to ride? If I head out, and the trails are mush, I have no problem cancelling out and heading home, rather than muck up the trails.

Unfortunatley I think it is going to be very wet and slick tomorrow but it won't stop many people from riding so I'll see you all tomorrow. I think I'll be leading this ride so I'll try my best to keep us on the drier trails. BTW I don't mean to sound like an a$$ with that first statement. 😱

We have had a fair amount of rain this week. My feelings are most of the upper trails will be OK so we can get some riding in(it is a social ride after all).
Secondly we will have a few people that are regularly involved in the trails maintenence with us. I would leave it up to their discretion as to which trails will be rideable . Both Chris and Mike are good judges of what trails we could ride without doing too much damage.

I understand the trails will be wet but like others have said we will stick to drier trails. I started this and am coming from north jersey and still plan to ride. I am all for keeping off the trails when it's wet but allaire tends to dry up a little faster than other places.

930 am hospital road lot right?

We can't make a 9:30 am start(need to stop somewhere first) but we will be there @ 9:30 and can be ready for 9:45/ 10 am start. I do agree that we will be able to find some drier trails to ride on. We hope to see you all there.

I will be going out with a small group at 7:30, I have a silver VW passat, anyone that wants to is welcome to jump on, we ride at a pace that fits whoever is there. The trails were a little wetter than expected on Thursday morning and there was some blow down stuff on the trails. Earlier should be better tomorrow as it looks like it will dip below freezing tonight and should be firm in the morning.

Great ride, Good weather, just what the doctor ordered. Thanks to Chris, Mike and Joe for leading, good to meet new people and put faces to names as well as seeing a fair amount of familiar ones. Hope we see you all again very soon.😀

good time for sure and you are right it is good to put faces to name although I will most likely forget those names the next time we ride I tend to remember the forum names better...
