All A Muchy 50K

Did you guys see the email from W2 sports about the race? This item cracked me up:

8. The course is looking good. For those of you who did the event last
year, the course has changed slightly. We managed to up the climbing to
approximately 5,000’.

Gee, I'm glad they fixed a MAJOR problem from last years course.... Not enough climbing. Thanks guys! 🙄

LAst years results

They were posted on Bike Reg last year. They may still be there someplace. But the spread was 3:16 to 7:57. I would expect the fast time to be under 3:00 this year based on conditions.

How fresh ya feelin???

wow, 29 dnf's. im gonna shoot for 4 hours and see how that suits me... i'm assuming we're starting with cardiac? or is the course a secret?

Bob, I think you forgot to forward the memo about the rocks to my maintence crew. We brought in additional 34 tons of cracked rock and quarry stone. In fact the guys are out there tonight with the leaf blowers and rain tarps, I guess we won't be needing them ....
 
Hey all,

Long shot, but I'm trying to track down a GPS course file (.gpx) for the All-A-Muchy race.

Even a rough hand-drawn course map or a list of trails used would be a huge help.

I've searched the usual repositories without luck.

Any input you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I believe that was just 2 of the All-A-Muchy loops.

I did my best to find a file for you. But nothing exists. Neither my Strava nor Garmin Connect has the race GPS. Not sure anyone has Strava data that far back unless they went and uploaded past rides. As for Garmin Connect, mine starts around 2007. If anyone has 2006 in Garmin they would be able to help.

@Norm Thanks for looking in your files. As @Jeremy mentioned, files from this time period are probably trapped in motionbased. I found another thread with some non-race all-a-muchy loops for inspiration on creating my own loop.

Thanks for the pointer. I found the link you posted to this route in the "All A Muchy redux" thread. The Ouchie Moochie 60 route looks like a good route for a multi-park tour.
