Well-done video Tom. Thank you for posting! Where did you mount the gopro? It wasn't handlebar but has better perspective.

The 909 is always a blast. I think it's one of the best courses in the h2h series.
I have the gopro mounted on the head tube.
I made a mount by buying one of the simple k-edge mounts, a 2" pvc coupling and 3M VHB (Very High Bond) tape.
I cut the pvc coupling so that I had a piece with a shape similar to the head tube. I screwed the k-edge mount to the pvc coupling and used the 3M tape to tape the coupling to the head tube.
Mounting the camera to the head tube / frame definitely makes it more stable than on the bars. It's also much more comfortable than wearing the camera.

Great video Tom! You should patent that mount - it was one of the most steady mtp/Go-Pro videos I've seen.
I was so bummed I had to miss this race, next to KVSP it is the most fun course.

HA!!! Sevenz is still around...No need to dig that thread up again...You MTBNJ peeps are good people and do good things for the racing/mtb community...But I still firmly believe that if you know you cut the course you take the DQ...I would not leave it up to the race director...c'est la vie
That was pretty funny! I had quite a bit of video of us going back and forth that day. It was a blast trying to chasing you down that mountain at the end, plus I got to say I somehow got ahead of the guy that got second at the last race.
