We will be leading a tm session at 6mr this coming Sunday.

Meeting at the old white house on south middlebush road.

9am start w / plans to be done by noon-ish.

This will be a mixture of new trail construction and some trail repair work. I am building a new bridge / boardwalk in the next few weeks and this day will be about the ground work for that next build.

I have a good amount of hand tools, but if you have some tools that you like of your own, feel free to bring your own. Please mark your tools w/ your name.

Bring food & fluids. Bugs spray etc.

Thanks

J-dog

Anyone coming?

Ugh, I'd like to join you but I will be at Mercer TM on Sat and I don't think I can swing a double header and not get killed by my family.
:argue: = :mad2: = :2guns:

TM is fun peeps! 6MR is Awesome too, help keep it that way. 🙂

Thanks again for setting this up J. My son is now obsessed with seeing the bridge when it's done. Been talking about it on and off the whole day. I'm real psyched he made it the whole way through.

This new section is gonna be another fun spot to cruise through.

Thanks to all who attended today.

Soon you will have to try to get your feet wet on a cold winter's day.

Wish I could have come. Had to work. Wish I could hit lotto so I could ride and build trails instead of work!

i cant picture where this is....

going from south middlebush toward canal - go left at the red/blue trail split on red... keep going to the white/red trail split and bear right on red. you'll come to a really terribly washed out steep short down into a stream. there it is.

is that the spot with the natural wood bridge as a high line option? Will it still be there?

Nevermind, i think i know where this is now. The part of the red that you only ride if you do not do the white. I never ride that trail.

I have only went right once there I think.... because there is a mandatory stream crossing, right? I was actually under the impression that was a closed / decommissioned trail...

if I am actually thinking of the right spot... :hmmm:

anyway, thanks for the hard work!!!

Took a peek at the new trail-to-be...very cool! I usually take the white myself, but the red there is always a good option, adds another option to the trails and is kinda fun and fast. Most people I know do take the white trail and avoid that part of the red. It is shorter and alot less technical, but is still a great part of the park. WTG to all of you who put the effort in this weekend! I will do my best to help out finishing this section and looking forward to it!

This is actually a spot that I really never ride either, but the park folks had asked me as a favor to create a better crossing of this small feeder stream.

This certainly will be a less traveled section, but judging by the # of people who rode by on Sunday, it will be heavily used.
