2011 GF Rig

What about Niner air 9 carbon? I like the idea of being able to run it SS and geared. Anyone have any experience with this frame?

One of the first things Iggy mentioned was that he wanted it to be affordable. He can buy the complete Rig and then some for the price of the Air 9 carbon frame.

FWIW, unless you have a surplus of parts lying around, the Rig is gonna be hard to beat. Example, if you were trying to get the same specced bike as the rig(leaving out the Missfit), a frame and fox fork alone will get you to $1500.

You know the deal Poo, ride em all and pick the one you like best.

For good or for bad you get Fisher (er uh Trek) behind you. Anything goes wrong and they usually replace it (frame, fork, brakes, cranks, etc). Just go to a solid dealer.

I have 2 Rigs, the first i bought as an after thought since it was inexpensive as far as some of the bikes I have. I now ride that more than any other in my quiver. Granted it is no longer "stock" - new XXX wheels (sometimes), stem and bars and XTR 8" disc. It's fast and responsive when you need it to be, yet comfy enough for longer rides (4 to 6 hrs is no problem). Though, for the record I may be Fisher whore - I have 4 1/2.

Robson has a niner that he is thinking of converting to a ss...i think.

I want to get another bike, this time HT that's light for racing and also capable of switching to SS. I do like Air 9 carbon frame but I'm trying to do my homework first. That frame is not cheap....

The IF is nice but out of my price range.
I would like to hop on the Salsa for a ride.
I'm looking to buy new, so when I brake it I have some recourse.😉
