Tell me where you rode today...

it feels about the same today. Unless there is some amazing level of improvement tomorrow, I'll absolutely be calling my orthopedic to get an appointment ASAP. Mostly because I've paid for a trip to Africa (Namibia) in late July so I need to do whatever is necessary to get the knee ready for that. Right now, I basically can't walk without a serious limp.
Well... actually does feel a little better today, but still sore. Orthopedic appt for next week. Might try for an easy road spin after work today to get some blood flowing through it and see how it feels.

Sometimes it just takes time and rest to heal soft tissue injuries. I experienced a low speed fall two weeks ago and jammed my thumb when I landed. I was afraid I broke or fractured it at first. It swelled up and I lost some strength in that digit. But the pain and swelling went away after a few days and it’s almost back to normal now.

Still always good to see a doctor of course.

I think we have the wrong breed behind bars.
We had to send this sweetheart to boarding because she tried to attack and bite my sister in law and her boyfriend for almost an entire day, and since they were staying for two weeks we could not find any alternative solution quickly enough...It's not a race thing (even though she's of an unknown mix). Picking her up tomorrow, can't wait.

It comes out here on OYR - it may or may not be passable: https://maps.app.goo.gl/RhSTphXZ7cbs9QuE6

Somerset county signs are just across OYR and up a bit: https://maps.app.goo.gl/XnscCqp2xR2UnoXx7
It is called the Chipman Tract - I don't remember if the path actually goes to 202. Def can park in the Indian Restaurant and walk a bit.
here is a ride I found: https://www.strava.com/activities/2734049060

Hey Patrick, I followed your leads by trying that trail up the steep hill at the dam side lot. It started off promising but led to multiple tangles of downed trees.

So, I back tracked and cycled to OYR, made a left onto Milltown and onto a quiet residential street.

Found a trail head for Chipman on Moray.

Someone is definitely putting in work maintaining these trails even though they did not seem to be highly trafficked.

Found this interesting trail feature. Pretty fun log over actually.

The path running next to the Raritan was pretty and untamed looking.

Overall, it was fun exploring this little spur off of the Duke Island canal trails.
