    Allegrippis Trails at Raystown Lake

Good write-up, Manny. Thanks. I had a blast riding those trails over Memorial Weekend and can't wait to go again. From what I saw, it looks like group-lodging in cabins is the way to go, in addition to camping. Not many hotels/motels around the area, at least from what I saw. I agree...

    Allegrippis Trails at Raystown Lake

For those of you who have already been to Raystown, any advice/tips on good, affordable lodging? I scanned some of the previous posts that have discussed lodging (Bavarian Chalet, camping, etc.), but it will only be two of us. I don't have the equipment for camping and, quite frankly, need a...

    Walnut Mountain--Liberty, New York?

Anybody ever ridden here? If so, what are the trails like? Well marked? I'm going to be at a retreat in the Catskills this week and thought I might like (need) to sneak away for a few hours. I noticed Walnut Mountain was nearby. Thanks.

JORBA Group Ride at Allaire - May 7, 2011

Saturday just opened for me. Count Foxtrot and Letigre in. Is there going to be a $$ donation hat/bucket/jar? Looking forward to meeting new folks and those I haven't seen for some time.

    Blue Mountain - Saturday 5/7

I'd love to hit up Blue, but the ride looks like a bit too much for me and my single-speed. I don't want to hold the group back. I'm thinking I'll head south to the Allaire JORBA ride instead. But thanks for posting! I really want to give Blue Mountain a try and would like to ride with...

    Cycling Crap

Yep, dude, the superstar chick was totally an omen, or the big man above speaking to you. You were in the ghetto for the most part of the trip, who did you expect would step outside, call you idiots, and tell you to stop--a white man with an orange vest and mustache? A crow?:wedgie...

    niner carbon fork

Agreed! I agree Matty. I picked up a nude niner carbon fork from the marketplace on here a little while back. Combined with the Ragley bars, it makes for a really nice ride. For me, the improvement over my previous rigid fork was most noticeable on fast descents--very confidence inspiring...

    Vibrating Fork

It is a rigid fork. Are you breaking while riding on the street? Or on the trail? I've noticed some vibration coming from my front rigid fork when using disk breaks with force while riding on the streets, but on the trail it is not noticeable. No big deal.
