Jersey City is a big place if you think about it. There are plenty of guys out here willing to ride, but as urbanites .. places are few and far.

Google isn't really my friend since I already checked - hence why I asked if it was mandatory that it be boxed up. I even tried Yahoo if it makes you feel good. I'm basically asking for experience in being able to just put my bike under the bus.

For those that take Greyhound bus lines or Amrtrak every so often .. Is it mandatory on Greyhound that the bike be boxed up? Has anyone traveled to Springfield, MA using Amtrak .. do you if the lines have bike racks available or does it need to be boxed up as well like Greyhound? I ask...

Anyone else use this and found the sway control mechanism gouging out your paint job? I mean not just a little old scratch, but gouged a 2mm deep pit below the surface of the primer. Not superficial at all and I know mtb's gotta look rugged, but because of that is no no no no way...

So we planned to go camping a couple of months ago and now that we're two weeks away .. there's talk about bringing veggie burgers, board games and possibly a kitchen sink. That's not camping. I need a trail to get away while they live at "home". Anyone familiar with Harmony Ridge...
