Car-spotting thread

@GSTim that C7 is so low I'd need another back surgery when I was done.

@icebiker about 2 hours of prep time Thursday and then 3 hours Friday. Wash, IronX, wash, light clay, wash with Dawn, dry, let sit overnight. Day 2 is wipe down with CarPro Erasure, apply ceramic coating (cQuartz UK 3.0), buff off after 60 seconds. It's time consuming but by no means difficult. Day 3 is wipe down with CarPro ReLoad. Admittedly, the paint is in really good condition as it was professionally corrected and ceramic coated in 2016. And it's not a big car so it goes quickly. $58 of ceramic coating is easier to swallow than ~$1000 commercial job. UK 3.0 is supposed to last 1 to 2 years. Commercial products are 3 to 5 years, generally.

No back problems if you try my Suburban. It's been run through a car wash at least once a year for 2 years so it just needs a little help.

Had to stop for this one during my ride sinxr
It’s for sale. I didn’t go around back of it but I think it’s like an 83-84 with wheels from an 85 on it. It it was the turbo one it would have SVT or something on the side I think.

Paint looked really good like it’s been in the garage since I ride this road all the time and have never seen it before today.

He’s got it for 6K on the for sale sign but if it’s not a GT or Turbo then it’s boring

With parks closed we did a set of gravel loops in the Bedminster/Peapack/Pottersville area. Aside from these beauties at Rob Francis....

....we came across the following on the roads:
C8 (Orange, first one I’ve seen in the flesh)
Aston Martin Vantage (late model, maybe 2020)
308
M4 coupe
Myriad P cars.
and face to face around a dirt bend with one of these monsters:

Could be one of the old SVO models... 4 banger with a turbo. They’re pretty rare and actually super quick with a decent tune.
