Mtb Vehicles

@Glenn do you get commission for Audi sales or do you really like Audis that much?😛

How's the fatty so far? Cause it looks might fine.

My wife would never drive a "luxury" brand vehicle. I tried to convince her on a Q5 and even though she admitted she liked it, she still hates the idea of spending that much on a car.
I would never spend that kind of money on a car either. That's why I drive a Kia Sorento

They are really great cars. No commission on sales tho.. Sometimes the sales person will buy us lunch.
Yes the Fat bike is great. If my first one in 2013 was like this, I would not have sold it. Can't go wrong with a 25lb fatbike.

My friend is selling a 2012 Prius hybrid with 38k miles for 10k

Bikes are on the outside on a hitch, but I'm liking my wife golf wagon. Also liking the Sweet gas mileage. Too bad we're going sell it back to VW for something more environmentally friendly.... probably that new VW alltrack.

Jshort, whats your selling price? Been looking at these as the next daily driver. I'm a big Audi/VW fan.

Buy something that will lose 50% of it's value in 3 years and all of it in 10? She thinks logically.

Volkswagen is giving us 31k as part of the diesel settlement. (being forced by the govt to give us 31k is more like it). It's a 2015 with 12k miles so we're getting the max.

Doesn't every car depreciate?

There's different views. Each one has its pluses and minuses. I get not wanting to spend a ton of $, on the flip side, if I spend 90-100 minutes in my car every day, I'd rather spend it in something nice that I enjoy driving.

Didn't realize she drove that far. I bought my wife a nice Sienna for the kids but I bought certified pre owned with 18,000 miles. To each there own. I used to be big into cars and wasted so much money. Loved my audi s4 that I essentially made into an rs4 but if u don't work on your own vehicles as much as dealer repairs cost and the amount of them on luxury vehicles combined with the exaggerated depreciation they are just throwing money away. I am not cheap by any means but having young kids and a family saving $10.000 plus is a big deal to me. It drives me nuts when people car shop use the loan payment as their make or break.

And I am a bit hypocritical as my bikes are all worth more than my car. I have never owned a Toyota that hasn't easily gone 200,000 plus with next to no maintenance costs. I just can't justify a car worth 1/4 of what my house is worth.

+1 for the Alltrack. Or I might buy a used Acura TSX Sportwagon, if I can find one.
