ear wind noise

iPod.

-Jim.

I second this. In winter, when I ride the roads, I use my fleece cap and throw in my Ironman headphones with the mp3 players set to volume 2 (max is 30). I can still hear the cars, and voice, but the wind noise is next to non-existent.

Some helmets are better than others.

Switched to the bell gauge and it is the quietest I have experienced by far. It may have something to do with the thinner straps it has.

Also any windstoper headband or cap will kill any wind noise if they cover your ears.
Does your shop sell these if so I'll stop in and buy it,thanks.
