It sounds like they are going to build the bridge then place where they can... I would hope they are open for some suggestions... Bringing the raw materials to the proposed site and building it their seems logical

Well if they lug it in from middlebush over the clearing it wouldn't be THAT bad to get it in, but getting it to that spot would be a chore. Stopping a big truck on the side of the road and tossing a bridge into the bushes might look funny as well.

Either way it ends up there I'm down to help...my toes are into this idea 😉

I also am curious as to what "heavy machinery" they will use to get it there... My guess is they will drag it along the trail from the parking lot on Middlebush

this thread will go on until my penis is up, and that excites me.

I knew someone would start talking about penis

I am curious to how sustainable a bridge that could be carried from the road would be.

J told me about this while I was at the shop today. Did everyone hear a loud Whoop Whoop?

I will be manning the bridge 24/7 ensuring that all cyclists walk their bikes across.

I'm sure they have a good plan for buliding and transporting the bridge. And I am sure they will see many volunteer offering help.

There are some great wooden bridges on the middlebush trail at chimney rock. As big as what you would need in this application and in the middle of the woods. I wonder how they got them there....

jS - you talking about the one by the frisbee golf course? that thing is pretty substantial.

nope, if you go the opposite way from the Newman's parking lot... go past crim school.. and there are a bunch of bridges back there. That trail goes all the way to Argon Farm rd off Washington Valley. I take it when I ride to work.

But that bridge that you mentioned would also do the trick.

When it's frozen you can go straight out to the road through the frozen marsh. But ONLY when it's frozen otherwise you risk death by mud.

ah so that's what the catch was .. me and fixy were there last weekend and i was like why don't they just take this way

I thought a bridge would cost Eighty Grand. What happened to make this possible now? :hmmm:

i found some money in my old bowling ball and donated it to build that dam bridge.
