High standover? Pretty much a given on any bike with the shock mounted on the top tube. Bike geo 101, you set the bb hight, the lower pivot is set by the bb hight. The other pivot locations are set by the design. My s3 Kenevo has a stand over of 32 inches, that’s great for a large but it sucks for a medium.

Yeah. It’s probably S4 tall but short like an S2. The S3 Levo4 sits like the Stumpy. The R kinda sits like an Epic Evo. We have a demo fleet of those so I’m gonna steal it for a bit.
Ya MAN! This thing rips. The podium lives up to the hype for sure. The LT is so sorted. They learned a lot on the prior generations of this bike and they keep making it better. The floating battery mount really lets this bike move around in a way that prior ebikes could not. This is a firebird on crack.
I was lucky enough to get three days on this same bike in AZ folling ED masters and Chris Cocalis around. Such a great time.
The DJI bikes are getting all the attention for the total power, but the power delivery and the total package that Bosch delivers on this bike is insane. This will be my next bike too!

So data-point on e-bikes on trails. My town doesn't have a lot of mountain biking trails but the ones they do have ban e-bikes of any type. The town council re-visited this and decided on keeping the ban and it seems like it's for two reasons:
1) They don't want an additional user group on crowded trails. This makes sense to me as I've had a few close calls with hikers and once with another biker and I don't ride those trails often. The trails are multi-directional but also steep w/ blind turns.
2) The way e-bikes are going with more power, inability to determine class. This seems to be a big issue and a big reason for waiting out how it goes with e-bikes. The mountain bikers on the town council seem to be the ones who saw this as the big issue.

Yup, it’s those meat powered dirt bikes( some people call them mountain bikes). Got to get those dirt bikes off the trails so the dog walkers are not bothered when they walk the dogs off leash.
since everything needs to be mixed use, rather than identifying bike or hike (or equestrian) specific trails - then the bike could be directional, and, and, and......

Finally stole the Levo R for some testing. Bike is pretty nuts in Class 3 Mode. Rode to work and went through Watchung on the way in.
After work I kept it in 3 Mode and rode over to Chimney Rock. Put it in 1 and wanted to see how far I could get until the battery was at 20% and then ride home.
Got home with 15% still so I could’ve probably done another 5-10 miles. Ended up with 51 miles. In Class 1 mode I think you can seriously get a 65 mile ride in the woods.
Outside of battery and absurd power, 130/140 travel is what this segment needed. The standard Levo feels like a DH bike. I don’t like riding them at all. This is closer to an Epic Evo. Anywho, gonna try to push the battery in the woods and get a real life baseline.

This is a sad situation all around for everyone. Totally avoidable. Hopefully some good will come from this and force people to care more about the potential dangers associated with putting these death machines in the hands of those who are too young to ride them responsibly.

BREAKING: MOTORIZED SCANDAL IN BLAUVELT?
Reports are surfacing this afternoon from undercover trail-side informants that local rider @a.s. has been spotted navigating the technical terrain of Blauvelt on what appears to be an e-bike.
Witnesses deep in the woods describe a suspiciously steady climbing pace and a motor-like hum echoing through the singletrack. While @a.s. has long been known for pedal-powered purism, these latest sightings have sent shockwaves through the local cycling community.
