In the event of heavy rain and water-drenched grounds, the event, at Bensalem High School's discretion, may be cancelled. hmmf. I didn't even read down that far on the bikereg page. Hopefully the field drains well. According to weather.com, the rain is supposed to be stopping right now down there and should be dry for the rest of the weekend.

It would be a major bummer if the race gets cancelled though.
 
It didn't rain too much in the area yesterday ( I live about 10 mins away). Just mostly night before last into yesterday morning.

I did a couple of mock CX laps not far from the hs yesterday and the ground was dry and pretty solid even after the rain that morning. I don't know what that says for the school grounds but it seems promising.


However it has rained here since 6:30 this morning.

This all doesn't mean much but this is my first CX race and im hoping for the best.

If they are going to cancel I hope they make the call before I get up several hours before the sun comes out. Canceling individual categories would be a major drag for those of us traveling.

Hopefully the show goes on! Maybe we'll get a repeat of HPCX conditions from last year minus the snow.
 
agreed. ill be annoyed but the friend of a friend whos sleeping on my couch tonight from Pittsburgh might be even more annoyed.
