Wanted: Women Entry Level MTB - 5'3"

Hi,

I'm looking for an entry level Mountain Bike for my wife. She's 5'3" tall.

I don't have a big budget for this bike at all and am hoping to spend in the $200 to $100 range.

I'd like to do better than a Walmart bike.

My hope is someone out there has a good used women's bike they'd be happy to easily unload.

I'm in the Northern NJ (Mt. Olive) area.

Hi,

One other thing, the bike doesn't need to be a woman's mountain bike necessarily. My wife says she'd be OK w/ a men's too.

My guess is 95% of the folks on this site know WAY more than I do about mountain biking.

So if you think your men's or women's bike would work for an absolute beginner 5'3" female, I'd love to hear what you have.
