As of March 5 snow and ice still exist on many trails in Ringwood. South facing slopes have melted and the ground has thawed nicely, but anything facing north is still snow/ice bound and the ground is frozen and not allowing moisture to percolate very fast. I am guessing that over the next week or two, the snow will be melting and the trails may be extremely wet. Please be good enough to avoid any wet or soft trails for the next few weeks. River crossing may be high.
