Fatbike lane conditions???

snow, water, soft Fatbike lane
There is still snow on the ground, a lot of water flowing from the thaw and soft Fatbike lane conditions. Please give it several more days to drain before riding the bicycle singletrack.

Double trouble park is okay to ride. If your willing to ride around mostly flat dirt trails theres no problem there at all.

So does that mean we are hiking on the 6th?
We'll know by Friday whether the bicycle singletrack is ridable. Or weather (?) we'll be riding the doubletrack to a working area(s).

Durk, Fatbike lane was nice,a little mushy but nothing to worry about. You'll find some little patches of snow out there but we rode thru it during our TM today so its breaking up. We cleaned the blue loop today so you'll see little to no dead fall out there.🙂
Fatbike lane conditions were almost perfect this weekend, except for the many branches and some trees that fell/leaned down on the WSF trails during the recent snowstorms. Thanks go to SJ_John and NikkyE, (Mr. Berg was called back to his work systems) for their work clipping clearing and marking the FireTower and Huckleberry trails on Saturday as prep for this Friday nights ride (weather permitting).
Solo’d on Sunday, riding the back section of the Penn Branch Fatbike lane clipping back a lot of the pine branches that were leaning into the Fatbike lane. (To all the riders that passed and said *thanks*, you’re welcome.) Note: There are a number of newly fallen trees on the back northeastern side of the Penn Branch loop. A lot of the new logovers that are north of the Huckleberry (blue) Fatbike lane loop will probably stay in place to provide some added challenge.
