just rode through there sunday, can confirm many crows in various states of decay right in the middle of the trail only for 50yds or so. very strange.

Rode through there in the beginning of the month, there was a dead fox on the trail and hundreds of those vultures birds around it - it was definitely creepy.

I usually ride this piece of trail a few times a week. The "rugged terrain" mentioned in the government's response is puzzling. It's a rail trail and the spot is close to a trail head. This has been going on for at least a month before they closed it down. I rode directly through the biohazard zone at least a half dozen times before the closure.
