Strade Bianche 2025

Great race! Won't spoil it in case you need/want to watch the replay, but definitely fun!
It was. Road cycling is growing on me. I just can’t stand the people on the side of the road closing on the riders at the worst possible time just because they want to touch or take a picture. Security should do a better job at keeping them away.

I've followed road racing since the Miguel Indurain hey-days of the early 90s, which also happened to be when I got my first real road bike (a lugged steel Giant) and the TDF was a 2-3 hour show on network TV (or maybe it was ESPN?). I spent a lot of time on that Giant back then - more than on my mtn bikes - since I could ride from my house instead of driving to ride (still that way today). Especially since the more local mtn bike trails I ride today - Neshaminy and Pennypack hadn't been as developed.

I'll watch pretty much any form of bike racing I can. BMX, cyclocross, road, dirt - doesn't matter. It's also why I don't really consider myself a "mtn biker" or a "roadie" but simply a "Cyclist." I'm interested in all versions of cycling.
