First TM of the year. We'll be armoring a few trouble spots. If you can make it, meet in the lot on East Mountain Road. Thanks.

As you may remember, i tried bringing my son one TM day last week and he didnt last too long. You let him play with the pin flags. Out of the blue the other day, he said:

Can we go work at that place?

Me: The jumps?

No that place with the rocks, where I put the flags in the ground

Me: What place?

The place where you worked and that person had the truck that I put my shovel in the back

Pretty amazing what kids remember when you think they didnt have a good time.

Not sure if I will make this one, but maybe I will try with the little one again.

Your son was a trooper that day. Hope you guys can make it. Let me know and I'll make sure we have extra pin flags, even if we don't actually need them. 😉

darn, can't make it. I love playing with those rocks. What areas are you working on?

I’ll be there. The trails are in great shape for a pre/post TM ride.

i was thinking about a short pre-ride too. i'm gonna need some energy to keep up with my kids later in the day so i was thinking of doing a direct spin/hike to the top (gas line or middle trail just to the left of boulderama) and take a faster way down.

crap i almost forgot to post - i'm good for wheels down at 8 am, so i'll be there about 15 minutes earlier. i have a route in mind:

spin/hike the middle trail up (not the far right that hits boulderama), bang a left at the top, and take the southeast side of the mountain down to the flats to pedal out. if we get a late start, or going up is taking too long - turn around at some point and bomb down.
