They only missed the days to complete estimate by an order of magnitude. 😀

Two years later the few month long project is finally open!

Drove across it last night. Saw a Nelson Tree company truck nearly smash the guardrail. The approach from the Dutchtown Zion side is certainly awkward. I give it a week until the railing is bashed in. Classic.

Have a feeling a speeding moto could easily end up in the wrong side of the road…

Actual sourlands - bridge closed on Van Lieus. But no construction yet so can just walk under the barriers and over it.
