place to ride near glen gardner

I'm kinda new to the area and looking for a local ride. I haven't rode much in the past few years. Rode chimney rock a bit in the past and love it. Vorhees is 2mins away but kinda boring. Suggestions? I'm not in the best endurance/riding shape and my technical level is moderate to low. Thanks.
 
Round Valley to the south of you is probably the closest.

North of you is a few places as well. Allamuchy, Stephens, Deer Park.

I rode some of round valley years ago. not sure my bike or body can handle that yet. Gonna check out deer park this weekend. Any suggestions which trails to stick to?
 
Deer Park isn't gigantic so you can't get too lost 🙂 There are maps at the kiosk so grab one and just go explore. The trails are very well marked so when you are done, you can easily navigate back to the car. I wouldn't try to stick to any particular trails cause they are all kind of similar in terms of terrain so just explore and have fun!
