We had a good session yesterday and we are on schedule for this 2 mile trail build.
Vegetation is now cleared along the trail corridor, which took a lot of cutting to remove Greenbriar, Multi-Flora Rose and Russian Olive. I still have deadfall to cut out, then I will bring in Billy Goat mower to chop up cut Vegetation.
By May we will start benching/building trail. A lot of the trail is rake-n-go, as it's relatively flat. We should have trail finished by June. This will make for a much better loop then the existing field edge cut. Once complete we will make tweaks to the Rocky Brook trail, for more sustainability and funner trail.
If you ride here, come out and join us, we are always in need of help. We work Wednesdays from 9am-12pm. Our next wknd session is Sunday 4/27.
This is a Jorba Chapter as well, your membership dollars help to fund projects like these. Please take the time to become a member, it makes for better trails for everyone.

@1speeder and Brett. It was damp and raw out but this kind of work keeps you warm.
