Mountain bike park?

Did a 27 miler today. Made it a point to stop at the municipal building at Maurice river twsp.
Spoke to this woman
She confirmed the proposed bikeway and confirmed it will go through Hunters mill road to weatherby road (which that part of hunters mill Rd is gravel)
When I showed her the map and mtb park, she told me that the map was from years ago, “the old regime” she said. She said that they haven’t got a bid on the bikeway project ( I didn’t tell her that I saw that it was bid to a Bridgeton outfit. I told her about JORBA. I showed her Ken S post on this thread about how he walked the area and with who and told her that there are quite a few mtb parks around the area. Estell, BSP, the Bluffs.
It could bring people into the area if you were thinking of creating a mtb park. She asked about mileage and what I think they could get at that site.. I told her that I do know that there is a branch of the Maurice that goes through there. But told her for example the bluffs have 7+ miles,
Belleplain has 10-11 and Estelle has over 6.
She seemed very interested.
I gave her my name and number.
We shall see.

Went to Galloway today. Spoke with Trail builder and his wife and a former student of mine. Told him all about my week of investigation into the possible bike park and to check out this thread. He is the South jersey jorba guy. Sorry I can’t remember his name. Nice guy. Seemed interested. Hello and nice meeting you if you check in. 😀
