Did my sneak over the MCP ride this mornin

did the Blue all the way around...still can't connect back to the west lot via the wood and not the bypass...wondering if there is even a place to cross the stream in the dotted line section of the blue route.

but the rest of it was stellar, most of the mud gone.

if anyone wants to work on that dotted line section with a little TM love, count me in, I'd be glad to help.

Also game for any weekday midday rides, can usually sneak in an hour or 2 with a days notice or two...i'd say my pace is slow/intermediate if anyone wants to join me.

Dotted line on map

Rusty,

A couple of things that have occured since the dotted lines were added to the map. First they built about 100 homes just north of the park that caused the amount of water run off to quadruple second there are now several active beaver families who like to dam up small streams and create ponds
What was once muddy in the springtime is now a small lake. Look at the two bridge crossing 12 years ago that was a couple of blue barrels side by side
now its two 24 ft bridge spans and when it rains hard for a few days they need to be tied down to keep them from floating away. We have searched all along the northern edge of the park for a connector without any success. The power lines to davel to the east picnic area seems to be the only answer
If your interested in helping with trail maintenance check out www.mercertrails.org look on the TM page
Happy Riding,

Mick

Thanks...makes more sense to me now.
I'll join ya, just not on the 19th, I am out of town, but the next one for sure.

Though my last group ride here ended with a trip to the hospital, I am dumb enough to do it again! Let me know about any future rides Rusty.
