Literally found this beauty in a dumpster, trying to bring it back to life. Im willing to dump some money into it for the basics, but the wheels are a bit wonky. Lemme know what you have, like I said, the cheaper the better. I'll come to you if need be. Thanks.

Wow, I had one of those back in the day. In fact, I'm in Cannondale's 1999 catalogue sitting on it leaning against my truck.

@walter he found a set. Rear is a bontrager rim, front is a wheelsmith rim. Both have shimano hubs. They are apparently barely used although dusty from sitting in the basement. Rear comes with an 8 speed cassette, bur if you want to run 7speed you’ll just need a 4.5mm hub spacer. He’s asking $35 for the pair. He’s up in Kingston but comes to NJ on Mondays so i can get them for if you you want them. You'll need to use the skewers that came on your bike. LMK

I dropped the bike off this morning to have some stuff done, they are confident the wheels just need to be trued. I should have it back by the end of the week, if thats not the case I will reach out. Thank you so much!

UPDATE!!!!!!! Much thanks to Barry, Tony, and the rest of the crew at Planet Bike for giving new life to the DumpsterDale! Some trued wheels, new chain, cassette, shifters and levers and this cream puff is as comfortable as an 85 Cutlass Supreme. Thanks to all of you who offered to help! Good times.

Nice! 👍 👍 Super V rides again! Could you possibly source a longer stem? 😆 When i had my XL Super V, i went through stems like candy trying to find the right fit. Sold the bike years ago and gave away these stems. If you wanted to put a 1 1/8 fork on it instead of the headshok (mine constantly had problems) i may still have the headtube reducers that enable you to install a standard 1 1/8 headset.
