Greetings all,
I am new to thread and looking forward to meeting up and riding with some of you folks. I live in Monmouth county; my favorite place to ride is Hartshorne Woods in Atlantic Highlands, NJ. I know the park like the back of my hand.

Welcome, actually rode there today. Only my second time out but really enjoy that place.

Anyway enjoy the site lots of good people and info on here.
 
We used to ride there a lot back in the mid 90's, havent been there in a loooong time. I want to go soon, let me know next time you plan on going.

i will probably be hitting Hartshorne this weekend. Probably Sunday morning - not sure yet - let me know if you want to tie up. i usually ride out of buttermilk lot - i have some fun loops
 
I live right down by hartshorn but never rode it... YET!! I been riding Huber and Tatum, did the race last weekend and had loads of fun! I'm willing to give hartshorne a shot. I can ride This coming Monday if you want.

Not sure Monday will work as my office is hour away and by the time I get down it might be dark. Perhaps I can get out early - what time were you thinking Monday? I am meeting a buddy there tomorrow at 9am if you want to join us that would be great. Hartshorne blows Tatum and Huber away. I've been trail running there, I do like it. Unfortunately I work tomorrow. And for Monday, 430/5 meeting time may work if u can make it
 
I also like to trail run there. Next year you should look into the mountainman biathlon at lewis morris park in Morristown. It was the weekend before the Tatum park race. It is a 2 mile trail run - 10 mile mtb - and another 2 mile trail run. I did it this year; it was a lot of fun. I probably won't be able to make it down to Hartshorne by 5 Monday; however, Tuesday morning works for me. Can you make Tuesday morning?
 
Hartshorne is closed until noon on 12/4/13, 12/6/13 and 12/9/13 for deer hunt. Saw a rather professional tree stand there today.
 
Rode there this afternoon. The last two days it's as if the trails have been blwn/raked. Real good conditions. Saw some fellas finishing up a hunt. Asked if I'd seen any deer, I had, and if I'd be willing to show them where, I didn't. Used to hunt.., find 'em yourself. Good bunch though, lotta the typical, how do ya ride a bike I. Here kinda questions.
