I'm assuming you're not talking about mountain bikes. If so, this was the ride I did recently. But like I said above, there's tons of bike lanes around the city also.

Just start in Leesburg and hit the best gravel in the country. Historic, beautiful and low traffic. Can start from Poolesville area.
