Hello,
I've not been "up narth" for a couple of weeks. Have you guys (CR) had the same rain we've been getting at the shore? Should CR still be avoided for now? Thanks.
 
Im gonna say its still wet, but guys who live closer to cr would know better. With yesterdays rain and the rain from the weekend it cant be good. If your lookin to head north you might want to ask folks around Morristown if Lewis Morris is good. That place tends to dry out quicker.
 
Thanks guys, I figured as much. Perhaps I'll hit the road or Allaire before I head up north. Or even ride the road up north...
 
Yesterday it dried up fast but today we had lots of rain and snorkels will be required for a few days:cry:
 
Hey all,

I just walked outside into my backyard (which is CR), and found the trails to be covered in puddles and soggy. Please do not ride these trails this weekend, especially if you look at the forecast for this coming week.

These need some time to dry.

On my road ride yesterday I swung by the Newman's Lane lot to use the port-o-pot and I was pleasantly surprised that there were exactly zero cars in the lot with bike racks. The only 2 cars were obviously not bikers. I like to think that this site has a lot to do with that. 3 years ago there still would have been people out riding.
 
I rode there yesterday and today. It was a windy, sloppy mess yesterday. Even with the sun out today it was muddier today than yesterday. On a side note, Round Valley was perfect this morning so go there instead😀
