Anybody have more info on this......

JDurk thanks for the post link. I forgot about that thread, even posted in it. Would love to check that place out on a weekday now that the kids are back in school.

Galloway is proposing a paved loop around the perimeter of the property (approx 330 acres total) with singletrack in the middle. I will let "Theranch" share more details since this is his project.

The politicians in Galloway are super bike friendly and a few of them ride, making this project even more exciting.

Hey guys...this is the property that I have been maintaining for a while now. It's finally getting some traction! In the works is a stacked loop single track trail system created with the help of JORBA!
I have been laying low on this because it was under wraps. So far we had JORBA Pres. Frank Harms and "KenS" out to speak to the Galloway Go Green committee on what JORBA does and what the possibilities are for the property.
The project needs to appeal to recreational users of all levels which is why they are proposing a paved loop on the outskirts of the property. The interior of the loop will have the single track trail system. I'm also pushing for a pump track to be built by the proposed parking lot.
Anyone that has used the park in the past knows that parking is an issue. They are proposing an official park entrance off of Jim Leeds road that has parking for 50 cars as well as bathrooms.
We'll be presenting to the county open space board in the coming weeks so stay tuned. All feedback looks & sounds GREAT so far!

Good Luck.

I don't know how to take that...sincerely or sarcastically. Things are actually moving quite quickly on this project. We should know in a week or so what kind of funding we'll get to start the project. I can say that the committee is putting together a really nice proposal.
