Small crew big work day.
Went in mostly just to replace the planking on the bridge that the park had installed on the river trail some years ago.
Once we started to remove the older planks we found the right side 6X6 was rotted beyond repair.
We made the decision to rebuild the bridge without the right side 6X6 in order to make the structure as sound as possible.
As of now the bridge is 2.5 feet wide and solid we also changed the spacing on the planking to better allow the water to flow through the planks to hopefully allow them to stay dryer to stop the rot
We also trimmed the trail to the bridge and removed a pretty good sized widow maker tree.
