ADD versus Threadjacking

i agree that most 'threadjacking' is simply the result of a shortened attention span. it's certainly the case with me on the internet. i just can't take anything that happens on something that doesn't actually exist in the physical realm too seriously.

Holy shit, I just actually LOLed at your edited footer. I'm still laughing. Too funny.

I'll likely be car shopping next year, and this has been on the list for a while already. Gonna be really interesting to see how it does.

I fully support that purchase. Take one out for a spin, it broke all my expectations! Excellent car beets the GTI with interior quality and has all the fun and zip of the Mazdaspeed 3 (or almost all of it). I'm hoping to do an overseas delivery with one next summer since I'll be over in Europe with my GF, http://www.volvocars.us/salesandservices/overseasdelivery/

🙂 :hmmm:
Last night I test drove one of the first new Volvo C30s to make it into this country... Damn that thing is hot, I want, anyone have $30k to loan me?

You might Drive a Subaru Outback 2.5 XT Turbo. If you have a IMBA membership (which you should) you can get any Subie (not the STI) for 2% off wholesale.

I got the XT myself this spring. I just did a 7 hour drive up to Jay peak this week and the car was a pleasure to drive. I took route 91 down from the Kingdom area at 100mph with 2 bikes on the back. That road is very fast.

Speaking of cars.. My host up there took me for the scariest car ride I have ever been in .

He owns a Audi RS6 whick is a close to a 4 door super-car as I have ever been in. We were doing well over 100mph on the mt roads of northern VT. the cornering was very very impressive. Not to mention the acceleration of a 450hp car with all wheel drive.

I wasn't offered the chance to drive it but as I have no plans of buying a near $100,000 car I didn't ask for a chance to drive it.

What a sweet car.

Audi RS6... :drooling: :drooling: :drooling:

Three drools for that one. Awesome!

I'm an Audi guy. I don't have a "S" car but it is a quattro - very sure footed in turns and things.

There's a new A5 coupe coming out in November. The "S" version is pretty sweet with +340 horses. or you could opt for the new BMW M3 with +400 gee gees. They're not $100k but still up there!

Just never really got into cars like most people. As long as it starts, goes from point A to point B, has a radio, and preferrably has heat/ac, I'm good to go. I prefer good gas mileage and shy away from pink, but really I'm not that picky about the color.

or how about the porsche cayenne turbo? $110k fully decked out. all the horsepower(450 or 500, can't remember) and all the SUVness. none of the gas mileage.

You're fortunate. Having a car jones is a pain in the ass, unless you have lots of money or no other interests.
