“Rough” edge on Roval carbon rim

I’ve noticed some abrasion/wear on my tire sidewall, just above the bead, at the rim interface (these are the hookless rim design). After a bit of use (probably <250 miles so far on the tire, mounted new), there’s a ~1.5 cm section on the tire where the rubber compound is worn sufficiently to produce a slow leak. Looks (feels) to be a slight “rough spot“ on the rim edge. Doesn’t appear to be structural or impact damage to the carbon, almost looks like some slight voids in the resin that’s abraiding that spot on the sidewall. Anyone ever see something like this or repair by lightly wet sanding the edge? Rear wheel, 25mm ID with about 900 miles on it since new FWIW.
