Less competition may lead to higher prices.

    Wild Cat Wednesday!

Haha, nah, all survived. So, looks like rain is not coming to your ride, so I'll probably show up if 5:30 still stands.

I saw a couple more down trees on Saturday. There were some others but easily avoidable or ridden over.

Are you accepting new applicants? I could give it a go if you're starting 5:30 or later.

    Stephens State Park Conditions

hmm, if that happens then I hope they'll put some sort of barriers around that lot. Otherwise I can see people driving and parking on that double track path around the lake.

Are you going to ride all of France routes in one go? There is quite a bit of climbing there and half of the routes are pretty long. But I suspect you already know that. Good luck on that endeavor!

Good to know about TR. I've been trying to follow zwift's workout plans like an "8 week Grand Fondo" plan for example. That has worked for me reasonably well over the the last couple of years, but I would love to find something with a bit more intelligence instead of just do these workouts by...

Yeah, I find game-type interface of zwift a bit childish. I am delibrating about trying Rouvy just for their supposedly real scenery. As far as zwift racing I find it quite hard, but somewhat fair. Maybe your racing score is too high and zwift puts you in a higher racing group?

Interesting... I'm the opposite. I mostly do structured workouts in erg mode with a few group rides and recently some racing in sim mode thrown in. I don't find pacer bots all that appealing.

Zwift workouts and plans are tailored/adjusted based on ftp, but there is no intelligence that says "oh, you've ridden 200 miles yesterday, take a break today or do a recovery ride." It's fully up to you if you want to kill yourself indoors. 😂

How is the Trainer Road different from the workout plans that Zwift has built-in? I've been only doing the Zwift ones so I am curious... One more question: is it $22/month on top of $20 zwift fee?

I noticed that too. Maybe they are trying to make them more human-like . Slower on uphills.

It's still there as of yesterday. It's partially cut up, but the current opening is too small for cars to squeeze by. While hiking i ran into this tree

I've been riding at 100% trainer difficulty for the past year, mostly thinking that setting it to anything lower would be cheating. Recently I started getting into zwift racing and I have watched a bunch of youtube videos claiming that while it's not really cheating, it is actually helping save...

I have an older 2017 macbook that acts as the main hub where all my zwift devices connect to, i.e. kickr core, cog and its controllers, and HRM. It is connected to an older TV via hdmi and wirelessly to Wifi. Most of the time everything connects withing a minute of starting the app, but...
