Tree down on the golden Trail there’s also at least two active ground hornets nests and a widowmaker tree leaning on golden I don’t have locations of those as I was racing to get away… been here a couple hours haven’t seen anything else of interest. I’ll post if there’s anything else as I go...

It was a muddy sloppy mess yesterday evening. Probably not worth trying for a few days I’m guessing.

Very significant mud on lower trails, not good. Needs more time. Upper are ok.

Does anyone ride in Sparta mtn? I see activity on the heat map of Trailforks. Wondering if it’s worth it or mostly atv. Thanks!

just now.. Some trails were terribly muddy and not rideable while others were pretty good. I would skip it and try elsewhere

This am the Waterloo rd lot was coned off with police activity. I passed by and decided to go to Stephens. There were two officers with bloodhounds crossing the road I assume trying to find someone. I’m guessing it’s opened by now…
