With just 1 Saturday and 1 Wednesday afternoon ride left. And a favorable weather forecast. Things are looking good for the 40 mile pine land ride on April 11. A head count would be nice.

Let’s try this again. New date for the 40 will be April 11 from the office. Start time 8:00. This is a 7-8 hour day. Bring food, drink, and a spare bike(just in case). Should be a good one(if it doesn’t rain).

Greenwood ride is canceled

We now have 21 miles cleared. The rest may take longer because we need to ride out further before cleaning begins.

Clean up has begun at BTB. Today 5 of us cleaned up 9.5 miles. Working on the 40 first. So 30.5 miles left. We will get there.

It’s not my place, but this is the time when Kurt will be asking everyone not to ride on the Batsto trails. Warm temperatures and melting snow will make the trails fragile.

Just drove between Wharton & Penn forests. And any road that had tire tracks were covered in water.

For what’s its worth. Brendan T Byrne sand roads were not rideable with a regular mountain bike. Black Run just posted that the sand roads were not good. Both parks are just miles from Wharton.

It would be wise but not mandatory. This ride is older than fat bikes being popular in our area. That’s why we held it in winter. The sand was at its hardest.
