Hi. I went on the Indian Purchase Trail today just a little beyond the wooden pole powerlines where the access trail comes down from Dreahook Road but I’m out of shape right now because I didn’t do any hiking since November because of the cold and snowy winter so I got exhausted and turned around.

Thank you both for that information. The Ringwood State Park trail brochure is misleading because it says the State Line Trail crosses into New York so I’ll let the Ringwood State Park staff know it’s incorrect.

I know you guys said the State Line Trail goes to the border of New Jersey and New York and that there is a social trail across the street from there but does that social trail also have trail blazes? I’m asking because I’ve never been on that trail.

I looked at the trail brochure for Ringwood State Park and it says that the State Line Trail crosses the state border into New York and the Ringwood State Park staff told me the State Line Trail enters Sterling Forest in New York but is that correct?
