I have a Rig too, but it has a tough gear and didn't want to kill my legs ahead of the race.... I also wanted to make sure my "good" bike is ready so I prioritized that over a lunch ride

Well, I tried! Happy I tried to get out for lunch because I ran into an issue swapping to SS and ended up fixing that during lunch instead. Hope you enjoyed the park!

That other guy is my teammate, Jeff. I saw him walking his bike out of the creek as I came up to the bridge. Just as I was asking him if he was okay one of the roots exiting the bridge took my front tire out of under me and I hit the ground hard. We rode (suffered through) the next few laps...

Should be good to go. These new trails are built properly to shed water. A day or two after rain is typically perfect dirt, tacky with little dust. Check back in if we get a monsoon, but that's not currently in the forecast Do you have a route to follow? Will be way more fun with a guide

Happy to see you all enjoyed the new section. Our awesome volunteers worked their tails off for two hours last Wednesday chasing sunset.... We wanted to make it ride as best we could with the limited time we had. We'll be working on refining it during the next few trail sessions. Always looking...
