Bald Pate mountain is slowly becoming mountain bike "unfriendly" so i am saying screw this place. time to devote efforts to places where mtn bikers (and their efforts) are appreciated. *pissing all over BP and their politics*

trees were down on almost every trail i rode. one at the bottom of the wood chip hill was turned into a sweet log jump though. (Cheers to who started it cuz i finished it.)

aye - we need bike only trails too. This is a big undertaking but no impossible...

aye its going to be wet no matter what :-\ the new linking trail took 3-4 days and 5-6 person crew. i bet with about 15-25 people we could fix this place up, divert some trails away from those springs, etc...

i am going to loop Bald Pate Saturday morning. i hope its not too muddy. I cant wait any longer though.. prob be at the pond lot (fiddlers creek) about 9-930ish if anyone is trying to crank. NOTE: we are also doing trail maintenance on Neshaminy trail Sunday morning for those inclined...

Hunting is over until next winter! Time to get some crews together and get some trailwork done. It should be nice enough in a few weeks..

i ride here all the time. there is very little foot traffic in the WC portion and i have never been hasseled for riding there. There was a new map put out saying only 1 trail was off limits but i have *never* seen anyone there to enforce. want my advice? ride the hell out of that place :)

essentially Sundays only for Pate riders till Feb 2010. not the end of the world considering how muddy its been...

Lots of climbing - very little technical stuff (so far!)

i rode yesterday and everything was dry. The only problem i saw was hoof prints on our newly fixed power line trail. We need to post a sign or something. Otherwise its going to get torn up again and again and again...

this is great news. I ride here twice a week and its nice we finally have some established guidelines. When fall/winter start - TM will be in full force on Bald Pate!!! We still have more work to do on the new connector trail but i will be scoping out areas for some new stuff as well...
