Bill and I hand cut and moved about 8-10 trees in the middle of the park this morning (BSA, unblazed, Ice Cream) and logged about another 10 or so in TF for the chainsaw. Little by little this whole park will be cleared.
@Sawyer1👊👊 was out today and took care of some in the middle of the park (517, Friggin Middle, and unblazed). Little by little it's getting done. I hope to get to some more later in the week.
Current status:
I may try to ride with a buddy during the week near Lumpy (with just the muscle chain). @goldsbar --Any idea how big the trees were? Simple on the ground stuff?
Sorry for the sloppy map, but I'm tracking that between @Fat Trout, @chainsawer , and myself that we've cleared all the green (recently). I'm tracking that Tim has cleared or was clearing the yellow soon.
I had a good call the other day with Tim (Mooch North Chapter Lead). He's gonna clear some and I'm gonna keep chipping away at stuff. I might get out later this morning and then I'll post where we're at and what's left.
I took care of about 6-7 trees and tune-ups on "unblazed" between Earthworm and Pebble. All cleared and updated in TF. I left one ~6" tree with two cuts for someone else to please move. It had poison ivy vines on it and I'm highly susceptible. I also took care of an unreported one at the...
It wouldn't let me report via app since i couldn't find the trail name in the nearby trails it was suggesting, so I did it from home on the desktop (where I selected "minor issue/yellow".
I added a report to the Morris Canal Greenway Trail (1/4 mi from Kinney). App wouldn't let me add without picking a trail (added afterwards). I cleared a few things manually (Trestle and NICA) and moved a big one off of Steve's Technical. Otherwise trails were pretty good at Stephens and DP.
Got everything in post #1,037 except the entrance one which is easily passable. Also found 4 more on the unblazed back to Earthworm. Trying to get them into TF log.
Moved a few things off the trail today, got the start from the Earthworm lot more easily passable, but also logged some stuff (may be repeats)--intel is dated at this place. We did this loop and only came across this stuff (Which STILL REMAINS):
Did a Mooch/Stephens route today and trails were pretty good on the Stephens side. We cut/moved one off the trail on Estus Loop (in case anyone was tracking). The rest was good. I'll report the other ones on the Mooch thread.
