Yup, the spots that were wet were wet and the spots that were muddy were full of mud.😁 Better than Friday but I still went home with a muddy bike. Lots of this. And this. Some of this. Slowly drying out.

It’s still in the 40s now in Bridgewater and won’t drop into the 20s until the wee hours. I doubt all that mud will freeze solid if that is what you are hoping for. Give High Bridge a try if you want a mud free ride tomorrow.

It’s still bedding in but I like it. Rollers are a nice touch as are the steep berms. Seems to drain well too since it was pretty solid and dry this morning.

I thought it fell from the bank but this totally makes sense. So how should we remove it? I vote explosives. Flamethrower is my second choice though.

Yup conditions A-OK today, especially compared to what other CNJ trail systems must be like today. Cleared a small tree near the Nassau lot. Before: After: Otherwise zero mud. Should be epic this weekend.

I’m here now. It is worse than I expected it. Sampled red and found a tree down which I will address and then go elsewhere. Too wet for my dainty tastes.

Will try to make it out there today in the early afternoon and report back if I do. Hoping the growing season starts soon, that will pull moisture out of the ground even faster.

Don’t mind at all. Got them online for 158 before tax. At that price, they dipped below the magical dollar per gram personal weight weenie threshold I’ve set for myself.

Nice ride. Did you get the gx carbon cranks on sale too? I was able to save 215 grams over the stock alloy crankset.

Nice. Those look pretty. I just installed a carbon SRAM crankset. Looks nearly identical to the boat anchor OEM cranks but saves over 200 grams.
